This site- specific arts project took place at the Willow Globe Theatre, Powys. It involved Key Stage 2 pupils from various local primary schools over a three-year period. The aim of the project was to make Shakespeare accessible for primary school children through drama, music, dance and the visual arts. A collaboration of arts professionals and local children culminated in outdoor performances of The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Macbeth. Mai's role was to support the children in realising their interpretation of the text and characters and help them build skills in puppetry, props and costume.
