‘Ark’ was inspired by the climate changes we face today: rising tides, man’s impact on the landscape and the effect on global communities. This transportable vessel was designed to provide a temporary and immersive haven and was transported into different communities around Wales for creative engagement. This was a collaboration between Mai Thomas Lead Artist, Boat Builder Giles Thaxton, Musician and Composer Dan Parry and Architect Peter St John.
